Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. — Mark Twain (via georgiathinks) (via inzeynity)

Just discovered that the “Red Book” - a log book of sales and the customers involved - is very difficult to read and analyze manually. It takes about 30 minutes to thumb through all the data and come up with a reasonable conclusion about a specific issue in question (like who is the customer with the most volume bought).
A simple database solution will be able to solve this problem. I’m going to create a test model using Bento, and a more robust one, if needed, on FileMaker.

Joining an MLM (multi-level marketing) is a good way to learn how to sell, especially if one joins those companies that do have great training programs. My cousin just went to my house to ask for advice, and from my experience with MLMs, this is what I told her.
I don’t think MLMs offer easy money: you also have to work hard to find a lot of people who can sell the product for you so your profit margins would scale. But then again, no business is easy money. If any of those who read this tumblog are considering entering one, know that this opportunity is almost the same as every business opportunity out there. Be very careful in selecting which MLM you’re going to join, and consider the time and effort required to really give you the income you desire.
…is a valuable skill any entrepreneur should learn. You’ll increase the amount of potential customers, investors and partners through this skill. The real question is whether or not you would do it in spite of the great difficulties that will face you:
1. REJECTION - not everybody can see your worth. Either you don’t project it very well, or you have yet to create it. Either way, don’t be dejected and try again.
2. ABUSE - some members of your network, if you chose wrongly, may abuse your connection with them in many ways (in the Philippines, it’s usually deception)
3. MAINTENANCE - networks should be taken care of. Establishing relationships is not a none time affair. During the start this may appear to be a nuisance, but as one becomes a natural in creating networks, then it would be fun.
